ABOUT ARISE!

2007 is Hope Centre’s 10th year anniversary!

To celebrate the anniversary in an impactful and meaningful way, Hope Centre (S) organised a Song Composition Competition, a 3min Short Film Competition and a Record-Breaking Trustfall event.

ARISE! STAND IN THE GAP aimed to:
1. Celebrate Hope Centre’s 10th Anniversary in an impactful and meaningful way.
2. Empower youths to reach out to youths with positive youth messages through various mediums.

The three main messages that the event and participants ARISE! for are:
I. Stand up to “BE WISE” with regards to BGR issues
II. Stand up to “LOOK BEYOND” vs depression
III. Stand up to “SAY NO TO VIOLENCE” vs. gangsterism & bullying

ARISE! Celebration Details:

THANK YOU!

ARISE! STAND IN THE GAP was a success!

Hope Centre (S) would like to thank all sponsors, participants and volunteers for contributing to its success!

The event created awarness of the 3 youth issues and created a new Singapore record for the "Most number of trustfalls done in an hour" - 2736 trustfalls completed!
